Indonesian fried rice is just like any other dishes in Indonesian cooking. Main ingredients are red chili, green onions mashroom etc. A simple but delicious meal for those times when you are eating alone or with a couple of close friend. It is a full meal by itself, this Indonesian fried rice is tasty and satisfying.

  • Boiled rice 2 cups
  • Onions 2 spring
  • Green chilies 2
  • Mushrooms ½ tin
  • Sesame oil 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Capsicum 1 finely sliced
  • Onion 4 finely sliced
  • Whole red chilies 6
  • Garlic 8 cloves
  • Oil 3 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Now heat oil in a wok and fry sliced mushrooms, spring onions, green chilies and whole red chilies slightly.

  2. Then add boiled rice and salt to taste and fry further.

  3. Heat oil in a wok and add a finely sliced capsicum, crushed cloves of garlic, red pepper and sliced onions and fry.

  4. Grind fried ingredients and mix half of it with rice.

  5. Pour the remaining mixture sauce on top of rice and serve.
