  5. masha'Allah very tasty! I am Amercian married to Pakistani living in Karachi and this is the 2nd time I have tried making Biryani. The 1st time was in U.S according to Shan Masala spice mix. The rice came out horrible. This time with your recipe and a little help from meri shohur my rice and biryani came out Zabardast! THANK YOU! FYI: FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW AS IT WASN'T MENTIONED IN THE DIRECTION: SALT IS 1/2-3/4 TBSP as a general rule of thumb to always use half the amount of salt per red chilli powder. (EX: 1 TBSP RED CHILLI POWDER MEANS USE 1/2 TBSP SALT Add the ginger garlice paste when adding tomatoes and spices.
