Prepare easy roghani naan at home and inspire everyone in your family and guests. You can serve this soft and fresh naan with Qorma, Paey, and Nihari etc.

Ingredients

  • Plain flour ½ kg
  • Butter 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Yeast 1 – 1 ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

  2. When yeast is raised, mix with plain flour, salt and butter.

  3. Knead with milk or water and put aside for 2 – 3 hours.

  4. Fold over kneaded dough using hands and divide into equal portions.

  5. Roll each portion into a flat naan and make fork marks on it.

  6. Bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for 8 – 10 minutes.

  7. When naan turns into a nice golden brown color, brush with butter and bake for another couple of minutes.

  8. Roghni naan is ready to serve.
