Ingredients

  • Apples 2
  • Pears or peaches 2
  • Cinnamon 1 inch stick
  • Cloves Few
  • Yogurt 4 cups
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Oats 6 tsp
  • Almonds 4

Cooking Directions

  1. Place apples, pears or peaches and cloves and cinnamon in a pan with half a cup of water.

  2. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat till apples, peaches and pears are softened.

  3. Remove from heat, discard cinnamon and cloves and let cool completely.

  4. Place fruits and yogurt in a blender and process till smooth.

  5. Add sugar.

  6. Spoon into four individual tall glasses and keep in the refrigerator to chill.

  7. Spread out the porridge oats and almonds in a baking tray and place under hot grill until lightly toasted.

  8. Shake the pan frequently.

  9. Let cool completely.

  10. Sprinkle oats-almond mixture on chilled fruit yogurt fools just before serving.
