Methi Daal (Lentil With Fenugreek)

Add one glass of water to washed lentils.

Add onion, green chilies, fresh coriander, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and pressure cook for four whistles.

Open the cooker when the pressure drops.

In a frying pan, heat clarified butter or oil and fry the onions till light golden.

Now add the dry fenugreek (Kasoori methi).

Add salt and add this to the methi daal.

Serve with paratha or chapati.
