Mangoes are no longer just for exotic dishes and desserts. This recipe takes a bit of time to prepare but is well worth the wait. It is perfect on muffins for breakfast or as a topping for your favourite ice cream for dessert.

  • Raw mango 1/2 kg cut into cubes
  • Sugar 3 cups
  • Lemon 3
  • Cinnamon(dalchini)1 tsp(roasted,grinded)
  • Food colour pinch

Cooking Directions

  1. Bring to boil some water.

  2. When hot then place sieve, steamed raw mangoes.

  3. Now make a sugar syrup; mix the sugar and the water; keep it on fire and stir continuously.

  4. When it boils, add the mango pieces into it; dip one by one pieces in syrup and keep them another bowl.

  5. Pour remaining sugar syrup over it.

  6. Then add cinnamon and lemon juice.

  7. Tasty kairi ka murabba is ready to be served.
