Ingredients

  • Prawns ½ kg (devein, with tail)
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 4 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 3 tbsp
  • Stock 1 ½ cup
  • Spring onions 2 (cut into 1 inch pieces)

Cooking Directions

  1. Marinate prawns with ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp white pepper and 2 tbsp corn flour mix well.

  2. Deep fry for 5 minutes and remove.

  3. Heat oil in a wok, fry crushed garlic till light golden.

  4. Add in ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp white pepper, soya sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce and stock, when mixture boiling.

  5. Add prawns, thickens with corn flour paste.

  6. Lastly add spring onion leaves and remove.
