A very interesting and full of flavors spinach recipe that's gona leave your husband asking for more. Spinach is cooked with potato, brinjal, turai and yellow lentils. All mashed up to make a delicious Spinach meal.

Ingredients

  • Spinach (chopped finely) 1/2 kg
  • Each of onion, potato, brinjal, turai (chopped finely) 1
  • Yellow lentils (Moong dal) 1/4 kg
  • Ginger 1" piece
  • Green chillies 3
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped garlic 1/2 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat 2 tsp oil and put in the chopped vegetables.

  2. Cook for 5 minutes, then add all the other ingredients.

  3. Cover and cook on low flame till very tender.

  4. When cooked, mash all vegetables well.

  5. Put again on heat and cook for another ten minutes.

  6. Season with cumin seeds and garlic.
