  • For Bread:
  • Plain flour 1/2 kg
  • Eggs 2
  • Yeast 25 grams
  • Butter 20 grams
  • Sugar 20 grams
  • Salt 10 grams
  • Sesame seeds as required
  • Water as required
  • For Stuffing:
  • Chicken 300 grams
  • Boiled potatoes 2
  • Peas ½ cup
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Coriander ¼ bunch
  • Yogurt 125 grams
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tbsp
  • Lettuce leaves for garnishing
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. For Bun: In a bowl mix together plain flour, yeast, butter, sugar, salt and water as required.

  2. Knead dough.

  3. Don't let it rise and shape into a bun using your hands.

  4. Brush with beaten eggs.

  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and bake in a pre heated oven at 200 c for 8 to 12 minutes.

  6. For Stuffing: fry a sliced onion and sauté 300 grams chicken in it.

  7. Then add potatoes and peas and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

  8. Then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, a tomato and salt to taste.

  9. Allow simmering for 4 to 5 minutes.

  10. Now add yogurt and fresh coriander and sauté until water dries up.

  11. Stuff the prepared bun and garnish with cucumber and tomato before serving.
