  • Prawn ½ kg (medium sized)
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Onion 1 (finely chopped)
  • Fresh red chilies 2 (finely chopped)
  • Eggs 2 (beaten)
  • Spring onion 2 (finely chopped)
  • Green chilies 4-5 (finely chopped)
  • Garlic 4-5 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger 1 (finely chopped)
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Fruit vinegar 1 tbsp
  • White pepper ¼ tsp
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 3 tbsp
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash prawns, heat oil and fry the prawns in batches or until golden brown.

  2. Add green chilies, spring onion, garlic clove, ginger and onion.

  3. Heat oil in a wok and fry the chopped vegetables.

  4. Now whisk in eggs.

  5. Add chicken stock, chili garlic sauce, tomato ketchup, sugar, fruit vinegar, white pepper, black pepper and salt.

  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes and add the fried prawns.

  7. Serve the prawns over a bed of lettuce leaves or garnish the serving platter with finely chopped green chilies and spring onions.
