  • Gram Flour 1 cup
  • Kesari 1 pinch
  • Cardamom powder 1 pinch
  • Rice flour 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 pinch
  • Melon seeds 1 tbsp
  • Broken cashew nuts 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 cups
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Water 1 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix the flour, rice flour, baking powder and color.

  2. Make a smooth thick batter.

  3. Heat the oil.

  4. Take the batter and pour it over a sieve with round holes.

  5. Tap it gently with a spoon so that small balls of dough fall into the oil.

  6. Fry the balls and keep aside.

  7. Heat the sugar and water till reaches half theard consistency.

  8. Mix in the kesari, melon seed and cardamom powder and fried boondies.

  9. When the mixture is still warm make into balls.

  10. Bondi Kay Laddu are ready to be served.
