  • Pasanday/under cut 1/2 kg
  • Raw papaya 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Cumin seed 1 tsp
  • Gram roasted/chanay 2 tsp
  • Poppy seed 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coconut 2 tsp
  • Alomonds 7-8
  • All spices powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Cardamon seed or powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil 5 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Roast and grind cumin seed, coconut, poppy seed and alomonds.

  2. Put raw papaya, grind spices, and all ingredients except oil and ginger garlic paste in pasanday and let it marinate for about 1-1/2 hour.

  3. Heat oil add ginger garlic paste and fry till golden brown.

  4. Put marinated pasanday in oil and mix well cover with lid.

  5. Let it cook for 45 minutes or until tender.

  6. Sprinkle green chillies and coriander leaves and serve hot.
