Ingredients

  • Wholewheat flour (atta) 2 cups / 200 gm
  • Fenugreek (methi) leaves, chopped 1 3/4 cups / 50 gm
  • Green coriander (hara dhaniya), Chopped 1 cup / 25 gm
  • Green chillies, chopped 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix the wholewheat flour, fenugreek leaves, green coriander, green chillies, and salt together.

  2. Add 1 tbsp oil, knead with enough water to make a smooth dough.

  3. Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.

  4. Knead again and divide the dough into lemon-sized balls.

  5. Roll each out to a 2” disc, smear some oil on the top surface and fold into a half moon.

  6. Fold the half moon again into a triangle. Now roll the triangle out.

  7. Heat a griddle (tawa), lay a triangle flat on it and cook on both sides till tiny brown spots appear.

  8. Drizzle a little oil and fry till golden brown on both sides.

  9. Remove and repeat till all the triangles are fried.

  10. Serve hot with yoghurt and pickle of your choice.

  1. methi is not like other vegetabel .......... we can not eat direct.. so plz when mix flour and fenugreek leaves add banana so its delicioues.
