  • For Syrup:
  • Sugar 200 gm
  • Water 150 ml
  • Rose water ¾ cup
  • For Mafruka:
  • Clarified butter 1 ¾ cup
  • Fine semolina 1 kg
  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • For Cream:
  • Condensed Milk 1 tin
  • Water 3 cup
  • Corn flour ¾ cup
  • Rose water 2 tbsp
  • Mixed nuts 1 cup (toasted)

Cooking Directions

  1. For Syrup: Prepare Syrup by combining sugar, water and rosewater and simmer on medium heat until slightly thickened.

  2. For Mafruka: In a deep sauce pan, melt clarified butter.

  3. Add semolina and fry on medium low heat until golden brown.

  4. Add condensed milk and syrup and stir until smooth.

  5. For Cream: In a separate sauce pan, combine water, condensed milk, corn flour and rose water.

  6. Whisk and stir on medium heat until it thickens.

  7. Remove from heat and keep aside to cool down.

  8. Spread Mafruka in a large platter, spread the cream on top of the Mafruka and garnish with the nuts.
