In a pot heat up cooking oil and add mix whole spices.
Then fry onion rings in ghee or oil until light brown.
Add 1/4 water also add cumin seeds and turmeric powder.
Now add Soaked rice,lentil and salt with 2 cups of water and cook it low heat.
When water is evaporated completely cover the lid keep it like this for 10 mins on low heat.
Serve with Curry.
