Ingredients

  • Cabbage 1
  • Carrot 1
  • Potatoes 2
  • Green chilies 2 – 3
  • Clarified butter ¼ cup
  • Ginger 1 piece (chopped)
  • Garlic clove 3 – 4 (chopped)
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Tomatoes 4 (chopped)
  • Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  • Peas ½ cup (boiled)
  • Water ½ cup
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch

Cooking Directions

  1. Slice cabbage, peel potatoes and carrot, cut into thin slices.

  2. Finely chop green chilies and keep all chopped vegetables aside.

  3. Heat clarified butter in a pan, add ginger, garlic and onion.

  4. When onion turn golden, add chopped cabbage, sliced potatoes and sliced carrot.

  5. Also add all spice powder, turmeric, chili powder, cumin seeds and salt, fry for 2 minutes.

  6. Now add tomatoes, dry mango powder, boiled peas and ½ cup water.

  7. Cover and cook for 8 – 10 minutes.

  8. Remove lid, add coriander leaves, cook on high flame till water dries.

  9. Dish it out and serve hot.
