Peel bitter gourds, cut lengthwise ito two pieces and deseed.
marinate them with salt and 1 tablespoon of turmeric and keep aside for an hour.
In a pot, slightly heat 2 tablespoons of Dalda Cooking Oil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Golden fry the onions and then saute ginger garlic paste for a minute.
Add mincemeat, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and cumin.
Mix well and cook on low heat until water in the mincemeat dries.
Stir well for 3-4 minutes and remove from heat.
Wash bitter gourds thourghly and pat dry with a cloth.
Fill mincemeat in one half, cover with the other and secure with a thread.
In a frying pan, heat Dalda Cooking Oil on medium heat for 3-4 minutes and fry the bitter gourds till golden.
Spread the remaining mincemeat in the pot and arrange bitter gourds on top.
Add tamarind and jaggery and mix well.
Cover and simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Dish out and serve hot with chappati.
