Ingredients

  • Paneer 40 gms
  • Fresh fenugreek (methi) 100 gms
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee

Cooking Directions

  1. Grind the fenugreek.

  2. Chop paneer into small pieces and fry till golden.

  3. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and add the fenugreek.

  4. Sprinkle a little water and cook gently till fenugreek is tender and water dries up.

  5. Add all the spices and paneer pieces.

  6. Add about 1/2 cup water.

  7. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, then remove.

  8. The fenugreek should coat the paneer pieces.

  9. Serve hot with chapaties.
