Cut the cake into thin slices.
Arrange in a dish and soak it with fruit syrup.
Mix custard powder in ¼ cup milk, put the remaining milk in sauce pan to boil with sugar.
When it starts boiling add the custard powder, cook stirring till thick.
Dissolve gelatin in ¼ cup water add coco powder in it and cook till dissolve.
Remove and add to the custard, mix well.
Fold in whipped cream and essence, pour over the cake.
Chill till set and decorate with cream, walnuts and grated chocolate.
