  • White pumpkin 250 gms
  • Chana dal 250 gms
  • Chillies 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves A handful
  • Oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak chana dal for 2 hour.

  2. Then grind finely. Scrape the pumpkin and squeeze out the water.

  3. Mix with the ground dal, chillies and all other ingredients.

  4. Form into small flat wadas and deep fry. Serve with mint chutney.
