Ingredients

  • Sweet potato (shakarkandi) 1/2 kg
  • Milk 1 litre
  • Cardamom 8
  • Sugar 1 ½ cup
  • Rice flour 3 tbsp
  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • Pistachio 20
  • Almond 20

Cooking Directions

  1. Peel boiled sweet potato and mash it.

  2. Cook milk with cardamom in a pan.

  3. When milk becomes thick add sugar and sweet potato.

  4. Mix rice flour in cold milk separately and add the mixture in kheer.

  5. As pudding (kheer) becomes thick, remove it from the stove and pour in a bowl.

  6. When kheer comes to room temperature add condensed milk, pistachio and almond.

  7. Place it in fridge. Pudding (kheer) is ready.
