Bread marmalade pudding is delightfully different combination of dessert. It is crunchy at the top, due to nuts and fluffy inside. Serve the pudding straight from the oven with marmalade sauce.

Ingredients

  • Eggs 2
  • Bread 6 (slices)
  • Cream 1 packet
  • Milk 2 cup
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Dry fruits 1 tbsp
  • Orange juice 2 tbsp
  • Marmalade 4 tbsp
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • For Marmalade Sauce:
  • Food color 1 pinch
  • Marmalade ½ cup
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Orange juice 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Spread butter and marmalade on bread slices.

  2. Now cut each slice into triangular shape.

  3. Put bread in a baking dish, spread dry fruits on top.

  4. In other bowl beat together milk, sugar, cream and eggs.

  5. Pour this mixture on top of bread slices.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven of 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

  7. For Marmalade Sauce: In a pan, put together marmalade, corn flour, orange juice, lemon juice and a pinch of food color.

  8. Cook till sauce thickens.

  9. Spread on top of prepared pudding and serve.
