Ingredients

  • Chicken, boneless cut into cubes 1 kg
  • Tomatoes, finely chopped 4 medium
  • Onions, cut into rings 2 large
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 6
  • Ginger / garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder pinch
  • Desi ghee or oil 7 tsp
  • Coriander and mint leaves, 2 tsp, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat ghee / oil in a saucepan, add chicken and cook on high heat till chicken is cooked and no liquid remains.

  2. Add ginger / garlic paste, fry for a minute. Then add tomatoes, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt.

  3. Mix well on medium heat. Keep stirring till tomatoes are cooked and oil separates from the chicken.

  4. Add green chillies, onion rings, black pepper and mint and coriander leaves. Fry on high heat for 2 minutes.

  5. Cover and leave on very low heat for few minutes. Garnish with mint and coriander leaves.

  6. Serve hot with parathas.
