Seafood is the major part of Chinese Cuisine. For Chinese lobster, lobster is mixed with batter ingredients, fried and cooked in curry.

  • Lobster (large) 1
  • Egg white 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Spring onions 1 bunch
  • Chicken stock 1 cup
  • Mushrooms (sliced) 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper powder 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Cornflour 2 tbsp
  • Ajinomoto 1/3 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil the lobster for 5 minutes. Remove the shell, take out the meat from inside, and cut it into small pieces.

  2. Place the lobster pieces in a bowl and add salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic paste, egg white and cornflour.

  3. Mix well. Heat oil in a pot and fry the lobster pieces one by one.

  4. Take them out on paper towels when they turn golden.

  5. Put 3 tbsp oil in a separate pot and add mushrooms and fry.

  6. Peel off the skin from tomatoes, de-seed and slice them, then add them in the pot.

  7. Fry for a while.

  8. Add the fried lobster pieces along with salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic paste and Worcestershire sauce.

  9. Fry and add chicken stock.

  10. When stock starts boiling, gradually add cornflour dissolved in water.

  11. When the mixture becomes thick, turn off the flame.

  12. Mix sliced spring onions in Chinese lobster and serve.
