  • Button mushroom 4
  • Black mushroom 2
  • Chicken breasts 2
  • Spring onion 3 strings (chopped)
  • Garlic cloves 2 – 3
  • Fish sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chinese cabbage 1
  • Salt as required
  • Black pepper ½ tsp (powdered)
  • Tomatoes 1 (chopped)
  • Green chilies 2 – 3 (chopped)
  • Egg white 1
  • Onion 1 medium
  • Leek 1

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil the cabbage leaves in warm water for 3 minutes and remove.

  2. Cut the leek lengthwise boil and also boil for few minutes and keep aside.

  3. In a food processor chop together the chicken breasts along with the mushrooms, spring onions, garlic cloves, fish sauce, boiled leek, salt, black pepper, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chilies, egg white and onion.

  4. Take a tablespoon of filling and place the filling mixture near the outer end of each cabbage leaf.

  5. Fold over the sides then roll the leaf up tightly with skewers.

  6. Now steam the cabbage parcels in a steamer for 10 – 12 minutes.

  7. The delicious Chinese cabbage parcels are ready to serve.
