  • Refined flour 1 cup
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Green chilli 1 (chopped)
  • Egg 2
  • Fresh coriander 1/2 bunch (chopped)
  • Ginger/garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil 3 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Put all ingredients except oil in a bowl.

  2. Add little water to from thick paste.

  3. Grease frying pan with oil and heat.

  4. Put spoonful of mixture into centre of frying pan and spread evenly while rotating the pan.

  5. Cook on flame low flame for few minutes.

  6. When Chilay turns golden from one side, remove from flame.

  7. Repeat process with remaining mixture.

  8. Serve delicious Chilay with chutney or potato bhujia.
