Ingredients4 tsp dried crushed red pepper flakes2 cups oil (Oil, preferably a flavourless oil such as sesame oil, peanut oil, groundnut oil , canola oil, olive oil or sunflower oil)MethodCombine the oil and crushed red pepper flakes in a heavy small saucepan. Cook over low heat about 5 minutes.Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature, about 2 hours. Transfer the oil and pepper flakes to a bottle.This recipe makes approximately 2 cups and will keep for 1-2 months if refrigerated.
