The Eastern sophistication reaches its top with the "baklawah": a thousand layers of thin crust, stuffed with pistachios, pines nuts, or nuts ... different shapes and filling of "baklawah", but all delicious. Diamond shape, square, rectangle, or roll... all forms are possible, and often each one corresponds to a particular event.
