Sajji is a native dish of the desert province of Balochistan, Pakistan. It consists of whole lamb, in skewers (fat & meat intact), marinated only in salt and sometimes covered with green papaya paste, stuffed with rice and baked over coal. Sajji is said to be done when it is half cooked. It is served with Kaak, a special bread.
