  • Paratha (flatbread) is whole wheat unleavened bread that can be made plain or stuffed with a vegetable, lentils or meaty filling.

  • Follow this tip to make soft and perfect paratha:

  • 1- Place your rolled out paratha on hot griddle pan on high flame.

  • 2- Cook till half done, flip and spread clarified butter on half cooked side.

  • 3- Lower down the flame to medium low and immediately flip again.

  • 4- Spread clarified butter on this side too and flip again to completely cook the paratha from both sides.

  • Important Points.:

  • 1- Make sure the dough is kneaded medium soft.

  • 2- Don't roll out the paratha too thin.

  • 3- Don't dust the paratha with too much flour while rolling out.

  • 4- Don't place the rolled out paratha on a cold pan.

  • 5- Don't cook the paratha over low flame.
