CAFE AYLANTO

COVO
The Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore, has managed to conjure up one more enjoyable addition in its impressive list of restaurants by adding the name of Covo. Covo is an Italian cuisine restaurant. This multi level Italian eatery seats about 72 people. The first thing one notice on entering the restaurant is the classy tranquil feel of the space, with soft, mood lighting. Textured walls, mirrored panels and well upholstery all add up to providing the great dining experience, that one night out, where one wishes to feel a modest lavish, a little posh. Covo’s waiters are refined, well mannered and well informed. Its chef's has been trained by an Italian chef, who was flown into the country for 3 months. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

CUCKOO'S CAFE, RESTAURANT
Cuckoos is situated in the Old City of Lahore, behind Hina Minar and Badshahi Masjid, Lahore. Whilst this building and area has a little taboo attached to it, it is certainly a place were you can experience nothing but tranquility, admiration of the city, and the beauty of the masjid that stands before you, that you can over look whilst enjoying your dinner.Try and dine out in the evening, as the lights light up of both the city and Mosque. This is definately a romantic meal idea in Lahore, with multi-level floors you have the whole building to decide where to sit and eat. Little passage ways, doors, art work and interiors have been preserved, so that you can have a museum-like building to explore, giving you a hieghtened dine-out experience.

DUMPUKHT
Dumpukht is Indian cuisine restaurant. Like the nawabs (Muslim princes) traditions from which it's drawn, the food and style at this restaurant are refined and advanced. Candle light is almost in every restaurant but candle light in Dumpukht is so beautiful. The vast selection of food includes delicately spiced meals packed with flavour: biryani, yummy kebab and the special raan-e-dumpukht, a leg of mutton marinated and stuffed with onions, cheese, and mint, bound to melt in your mouth…you are transported reverse into time of the Mughal period. Dum Pukht has local "Mughlai" food and excellent place for dining.

DYNASTY
Dynasty is a chinese restaurant in Avari Hotel. You will feel Chinese atmosphere. The food is really good and the service is exceptional. It is however in higher price range. A great place to bring guests or to impress someone.

FREDDY'S CAFE
At this point you will get a lot of choices to choose from. The Quality of food is outstanding. The ambiance in the restaurant is nice. The decoration sets the style perfectly. The service was superb but the variety of meals is mouthwatering. The menus are printed in a newspaper tabloid style including the Japanese menu. When going to Freddy's Cafe you should have good quality energy, because almost definitely you will be waiting for a time in the entrance area until a table is free. It is jam packed almost all the time. Well done Freddy!

GUN SMOKE
If you are tired of the regular Pakistani cuisine and want something different, then Gun Smoke is best choice. Dining at Gun Smoke restaurant is an amazing experience. Cowboys welcome you, wait on your tables, peanuts are everywhere and love songs on an acoustic guitar will be played whilst you eat. You will get a mouthwaterng burger and steaks menu, and a good salad bar as well.

HENG CHANG
Heng Chang is Chinese cuisine restaurant and recently opened at Kasuri Road in Gulberg. Hen Chang is nearby to “The Bar.B.Q Tonight”. Although, outside is not very ultramodern but they have tried to make the entrance attractive. A narrow doorway leads to the staircase which gets you up in the restaurant at first floor. Reception area is smartly structured to give a broad look. There are some separated dining rooms, a lobby and cabins. Cabins are in smoking area and instead of chairs are set with sofas which are rather more comfortable.

NANDO'S
Nando's, which is in fact a South African chain restaurant, serves up special varieties of its own signature Peri Peri Chicken. If you like hot spicy chicken then Nando's place is best. Seating is booths and tables, and is normally set up for larger groups. If you are looking for a close table for two, Nando's is not the place. If you are looking for a place for a family get-together or a group gathering, and everyone loves spicy chicken, then you can set Nando's on your list.

SALT 'N PEPPER VILLAGE
The Village looks similar to a mud brick castle from the outside, and is set up to resemble a traditional Pakistani dwelling on the inside. Tables are large and most are for at least ten people. The buffet has sufficient options to keep you filling your plate again and again, and everyone just pays a set fee for the buffet. Many authentic Pakistani dishes are on offer, as well as some Chinese and Continental dishes. There is an also a fruit and dessert bar complete with different Pakistani sweets. A nice place to eat dinner in. Not very extra ordinary, but good if you want variety under one roof. If you are really hungry and want to try a variety of dishes, Village is a good place to try.
