  • Ingredients

  • Flour 2 cups
    Milk powder 2 tsp
    Instant yeast 1 tsp
    Sugar 3 tbsp
    Salt ½ tsp
    Butter 2 tsp
    Egg 1
    Milk ½ cup
    Warm water as required
    Jam as required
    Nutella as required
    For Brushing
    Sugar 2 tsp
    Warm milk 4 tbsp

  • Method

  • Step 1: Sieve the flour in a wide bottom bowl then add milk powder, yeast, sugar and salt.
    Add butter, 1/2 egg and milk. Mix gently.

  • Step 2: Add water slowly and knead it will until form into a smooth dough.

  • Step 3: Apply oil on dough cover it and let rest for rise about 40 minutes.

  • Step 4: Punch it down and roll out into square of 12 by 12 inches.
    Divide the square into 3 inches small squares by using a sharp knife.
    Place a tsp of jam and chocolate in centre on each square.
    Fold square in half and pinch down both edges to seal, so the filling does not leak out.

    Brush with reserved egg and bake at 180 degree C for 20-25 minutes.

  • Step 6: In meanwhile combine sugar in warm milk until sugar dissolves.
    Take them out of oven, apply milk on top of warm rolls to keep them soft and sweet.
    Let them cool and serve.
