  • A recent US study suggests that replacing sugary drinks with water can help dieters lose an extra 2-3 kgs a year. The more water you drink, the more you tend to lose. The study based on the weight loss diets of 240 over-weight women from the ages of 25 – 50, who were placed on a carbohydrate restricted diet along with water replacing main regular existence of sugary drinks. It was found that women who drank more than average water, lost an extra kg.
