Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is the best thing for you, other than having fresh fruits and vegetables. But try to have fruit as soon as its cut, as vitamin C oxidizes quickly through cut surfaces. Also don t chop vegetables into little pieces before cooking; the bigger the surface area exposes during cooking, the greater amount of vitamin C lost. Over-cooking vegetables also zaps the vitamins.
