  • Home Remedies

  • 1. Use ibuprofen or paracetamol for pain relief. Do not overuse because it can cause side effects.

  • 2. Place hot compression packs beneath your back for an hour. They are available in large pharmacies. You can also take a hot bath.

  • 3. Get some sleep and relax.

  • 4. As you lie on a bed or sofa ask your spouse, friend or roommate to massage on your back.

  • 5. Use specially designed cushions for people having back pain. Back support cushions are available in market.

  • 6. Maintain a healthy body weight.

  • 7. Drink 2-3 glasses of milk. It is rich in calcium which builds strong bones and protects the spine.

  • 8. Cut 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root slices and add it in 1 quart boiling water. Cover it for 30 minutes in low heat. Cool for 30 minutes, put some honey, and drink it.

  • 3. Eat cabbage leaves as much as you can. It is a natural anti-inflammatory.

  • 4. Cayenne is known for its spicy-hot taste and makes an excellent ointment that relieves joint pain. Rub it on affected areas. It cause mild irritation and distracts nerves from the joint pain. Repeated application of cayenne can significantly remove arthritis.
    To make its paste, mix 2 tbsp. of cayenne pepper in half cup cocoa butter or coconut oil.

  • 5. Turmeric, brome lain and ginger is effective natural treatments to relieve joint pain. In combination, these three can boost up each other’s effectiveness. Take them on an empty stomach for pain relief twice a day.

  • 6. Eat peach daily in the season. They are best for joint pains.

  • 7. Cardiovascular and aquatic exercises are very important to cure joint pain and stiffness.

  • 8. Eat those foods that can reduce swelling and inflammation. Fatty fish and nuts are rich in Omega-3s that will help fight inflammation.

Good evening. ..Sir, Mam..from 4 years my mother suffer joints pain (gathiya) ...and asa well as she is patient of hepatitis C from 10 years...and we are confused that which remedy she can use bcoz some eatable remedies are harmful for liver and beneficial for joint and vice versa. ...so plzzzzzzzzzzz kindly suggest what should I do...which cure we have to start....and one thing more...all blood test are ok...there is no other problem expect joints pain and hepatitis. ....kindly reply soon
