  • Filling Ingredients:

  • Mangoes 1 kg (½ inch chunks)
    Flour 1/4 cup
    Salt 1/4 tbsp
    Sugar 2 tbsp
    Lemon juice 1 tbsp

  • Topping Ingredients:

  • Flour 1 cup
    Salt 1/4 tsp
    Unsalted butter 4 tbsp (cut into cubes)
    Egg 1
    Butter milk 1/3 cup
    Sugar 2 tbsp
    Coconut chips 1/4 cup
    Coconut whipped cream for serving

  • Direction:

  • Put filling ingredients in a bowl and toss them.

  • Take a baking tray and put the ingredients into it and transfer it in a 400°F preheated oven and let it bake for 15 minutes.
    In the meantime prepare the topping. Mix flour, sugar and salt in a bowl and butter, beaten egg and buttermilk till it takes a mixture form.

  • Pour the mixture over the sizzling mango mixture in 9 evenly-spaced clumps and bake for 20-25 minutes.

  • Take a rimmed baking sheet and place coconut chips in it, bake for 2 to 3 minutes and remove it instantly and sprinkle over the cobbler.

  • Before serving add coconut whipped cream on it.
