  • Eid is a gift for Muslims from Allah in reward of one month fasting. Throughout the year Muslims wait for this festival and they celebrate Eid day according to religious and cultural values. People meet their relatives, hug each other and exchange gifts. Women and young girls do not spare any moment of their preparation. Though we are suffering rising prizes yet almost all women make more then one dress along matching shoes, jewellery, bangles and other accessories. Mehandi designs are applied on hand at chand raat. In short Eid day has a romantic and cultural importance.

So it needs a  solution so apply this easy home remedy; combine 1 tbsp tomato juice, ½ tsp lemon juice, add pinch turmeric and common flour. Apply carefully around eyes on dark areas and wash after 15 minutes. After a few days you will observe a difference. Continue it until remove dark circles completely.

  • Make a paste by mixing 2 tbsp plain flour, ½ egg and a little milk. Apply on your face and let it rests until dry for 15 minutes. Wash with normal water and clean face softly with tissue paper. After that you can also get steam, then application mask according to your skin type.

  • For beauty of your hand and feet, mix together 2 tsp semolina, a few drops olive oil (or any other of your choice) 2 tsp gram flour and a little milk to make a smooth paste. Apply it on hands and feet like ubten; rub gently and clean. This is best for all skin types. Do this procedure 2-3 times in last the week of Ramadan.

  • Saima Maryiam owner of ladies club, beauty parlor and institute, she says it is quite hard in Ramadan to get 2-3 hours for facial, but I can recommend some household tips and tricks that have good and effective results.

  • Dink plenty of water from Iftar to Sehar or lassi. It will help out to fair skin.
    Do scrubbing and cleansing twice a week and must apply toner after that. Use cleanser and scrub according to your skin type.
    Spray rose water on your face whenever you wash your face.
    Apply honey mask once a week. For normal skin add a few drops lemon juice in honey, it will remove scares from face. This mask will keep your skin fresh.
    For oily skin, add lemon juice in gram flour and apply paste on face. People with oily skin can also apply a yogurt mask. For this adds lemon juice in yogurt and apply on face.
    For normal skin only apply yogurt on face.
    If you want to remove acne spots and scars from face; soak pink lentil in milk for 5-6 hours then blend it and at night apply on face. Remove it from face after half an hour, but don’t wash face and go for sleep. Wash your face in the morning.
    For open pores rub gently tomato juice and pulp on face, you can do this while working in the kitchen as well. It will also save you from heat of kitchen. Apply it for 3 hours later wash your face, repeat it at night.

  • Bushara Iqbal is a well know beautician who is also owner of bushara’s beauty salon in Lahore. She is considered one of the best beauticians of Pakistan. She suggests eating pure foods in the last week of Ramadan.

  • Drink pure milk.
    Avoid foods that can disturb your stomach.
    Take care to intake vitamins.
    Spinach is full of iron; add it in your diet.
    Eat radish and carrot and get health benefits from them.
    You can wash your face with yogurt as it glows the skin.
