  • Cake Pops are like cute lollipops made with cake crumble. Kids who do not like much cake they also enjoy its soft and moist taste because they seem attractive enough with fancy and colorful look. Let’s learn how to make cute cake pops at home with this easy tutorial. You can make cake pops in white chocolate also and can use any thing for decoration. If you do not like frosting as binder then jam is another option for you.

  • Chocolate Almond Cake

  • Ingredients:
    Flour 250 gm
    Almond powder 75 gm
    Chocolate 250 gm
    Butter 200
    Eggs 4
    Icing sugar 250 gm
    Baking powder 2 tsp
    For Cake Pops Coating:
    Melted Chocolate 250 gm

  • Method:
    Pre-heat oven to mark 4 or 180 C and also grease and line with parchment paper to 11" cake tin.
    Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and almond powder set aside.
    In a sauce pan put chocolate and butter keep stirring till chocolate and butter melts. Keep aside for cooling at room temperature.
    Now add eggs, one by one in melted chocolate and beat to mix with the help of beater.
    Add 2tbsp sifted flour into eggs mixture and fold by spatula add whole flour in 2 tbsp quantity so that no lump remains, fold gently.
    Pour this batter in lined cake tin and bake for 50 minutes or till skewer comes out clean.

  • Vanilla Frosting

  • Ingredients:
    Milk ¼ cup
    Butter 45 gm
    Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
    Icing sugar 200 gm
    Salt 1/8 tsp

  • Method:
    In a bowl put all ingredients and beat with electric beater to incorporate all.
    Frosting is ready refrigerate and use when needed at room temperature.

  • Cake Pops Making

  • Ingredients:
    Sticks as required
    Polythermal sheet a square piece
    Baked Cake
    Frosting
    Sprinkles 1 cup
    Melted Chocolate

  • Method:
    Let your baked cake cool completely on cooling rack at room temperature.
    Put cake on counter or into large pot, make small pieces of the cake and process into food processor till cake crumbled well.
    Add vanilla frosting as much as the cake binds well.
    Now make small and smooth balls and insert stick.
    Dip into melted chocolate, coat with sprinkles and stand on polythermal sheet.
    Repeat same process with all pops and stand on polythermal sheet.
    Yummy cake pops are ready.
