  • Ingredients

  • For Dough:
    All purpose flour 1 cup
    Instant yeast 2 tsp
    Sugar 1 tsp
    Salt ½ tsp
    Butter 2 tbsp (soften)
    Warm milk ½ cup
    Warm water ¼ cup
    For Stuffing:
    Cream cheese 6 tbsp
    Mayonnaise ¼ cup
    Cooked chicken/beef ¾ cup (chopped)
    Onion 2 (chopped)
    Red chili ¼ tsp
    Salt and black pepper to taste
    Butter 2 tbsp (melted)

  • Step by Step Directions

  • For Dough

  • In a large bowl add all purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, salt and butter.
    Knead it with warm milk and water until form soft dough.
    Cover with a wet cloth and leave to rise for an hour until double.
    Pinch dough and roll out on floured working surface in an even rectangle.
    Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows to make 24 squares.

  • For Stuffing

  • In small bowl, mix cream cheese, mayo, cooked meat, onion, and red pepper, salt and pepper to taste.
    Divide mixture evenly among the squares.

  • Fold one corner of the dough over the filling. Roll opposite corner of dough over roll. Press to seal.
    Shift on a parchement-lined baking sheet and cover rolls with a clean dish towel and let rise for 20 minutes.

  • Brush top with melted butter.
    Bake at 180 degree C for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

  4. Anam Mir, as far as we understand the mistake you do while kneading the dough is you put all water and milk in dry ingredients. Whereas this is mentioned use water and milk to knead the dough. Baking for 40 minutes is too mush. When you leave it for second rise it will not take more then 10-15 minutes in baking.

  5. HiI tried the recipe but it did not go well. Firstly, what temperature should I bake them at? I baked them at 180 C for 40 minutes.. they were hard and dry...Secondly, 1 cup flour is too less... it makes a runny paste.. not a dough. so i added more flour to it. Please answer ASAPRegardsAnam Mir
